THE WEATHER
The following is the Rev. D. C. Rates’ summary and forecast: —The barometer has risen everywhere, and especially in the i,South Island. Ram has fallen in most parts of the country, and moderate to strong southerly winds have prevailed. Present indications are for a continuance of high pressure, •with cloudy and changeable weather ia the north, -but gradually improving, and fair weather following everywhere. Moderate to strong south-easterly winds will probably prevail.
