WANGANUI. Feb. 16

A further development is recorded in the Rutland Hotel fire sensation. The police ascertained that three parcels were shipped by Davis to Nelson per tile s.s. Arapawa on January 11th. Advice was received this afternoon that inquiries in Nelson revealed that stock, said by Davis to be worth £3OO and insured there by him for £2OO. had been found stored in a Nelson auction room, and that he bad ordered it to be withheld from sale pending further instructions.
