CAPTAIN KNYVETT’S CASE.

THE AGITATION EXTENDING

AUCKLAND, Feb. 18. Captain Knyvett’s Defence Committee held another lengthy meeting today, when it was decided, in pursuance of the previous determination, to ihold indignation meetings in the suburbs. An invitation was received from Palmerston North to hold a protest meeting there. The committee, though it did uot definitely decide to accede to the request, regarded the communication as gratifying evidence of the feeling exhibited in the south, and the question of holding indignation meetings throughout the Dominion will be considered.
