ROM ANTIC WEDDING AT A LONDON CHURCH.
romantic wedding took place on December 28 at St. Saviour’s Church, Walton-street, S.W., when Mr Ernest Noel, who is in his seventy-ninth year, Jed to the alter Miss 'Sidney Saunders, daughter of the late. Rev. "W. S. Saunders.
There is nearly fifty years! difference in the ages of the bride, and •'room. The bride, who is just thiity, is tall and graceful, and looked very pretty in. a costume of dark grey "corduroy velvet, trimmed with brown fui, and a large grey plumed hat. The bridegroom who was accompanied by Mr Cecil Ashley, arrived at the church quite half an hour before the bride, and it was difficult to realise that ’he is nearly an octogenarian, so well does he carry his years. The Rev. Canon Upcher, who performed the ceremony, was assisted by the Rev. George Edmundson, vicar of the (parish Among the congregation were Colonel and Lady Theodora Davidson, 'Lady Florence Boyle, Admiral Sir Lewis Beaumont, Lady Margaret Shelley and Sir John and Lady Buchanan Riddefll. A reception was afterwards held at 30, Hans-mansions, and later the newly married couplo left for a Continental honeymoon tour. This is Mr Noel’s third marriage. His "first wife was a Miss Milne, and his second, wht» died in 1902, _ was LadyAugust a Keppel, daughter of the sixth Earl of Albemarle, and an aunt of the present peer. ~
