DECEASED CAPTAIN BLAMED

The subject of tlie Saharan disaster, in which 110 native soldiers and Europeans, a captain, two lieutenants, and two sergeants were massacred, -was debated in the French Chamber cf Deputies. The deceased captain was 'blamed -for exceeding instructions by occupying a desert territory. The Government restricts occupation to Abesln*.
