Many people interested in the butter trade, the Melbourne “Argus” reports, have expressed the opinion that shippers are charged too high a price for the butter-boxes made of New Zealand ■white pine, in which consignments ate sent to England. The Minister for Agriculture (Mr Graham) shares that view, and he has caused enquiries to be made as to the feasibility of an arrangement for the use of Queensland pine boxes in which butter from Queensland is shipped. The Queensland pine is heavier than New Zealand, but on the other hand it is stronger. Information received from the AgentGeneral (Sir J. Taverner) encourages Mr Graham to pursue his inquiries. Sir John Taverner states that many New Zealand pine boxes in recent consignments have been broken, but lie has observed no instances in which Queensland pine boxes have been damaged. Confidence is the greatest advert'ser in the world. This in a large way has contributed to the success that has attended Grieve, jeweller. Try him for smallest repair, watches or jewellery, and he will soon have your confidence *
