SUBSIDY LAW LIKELY TO BE WITHDRAWN.

The “Morning Post's” Washington correspondent reports that the general impression is that the shipping subsidy law will lie withdrawn, despite President Taft’s support. It aroused such criticism that the Government is unlikely to risk its defeat.
