At the Supreme Court to-dav, Chari es Braithwaite was sentenced to two years’ hard labor for breaking, entering. and theft; John Graham Oxley, one years’ bard labor for breaking and entering; George Wheeler, aged 16, for theft of two postal packets, probation for two years. SITTINGS AT NAPIER. NAPIER, Feb. 26. At the Supreme Court to-day the jury found Cecil Mcßoan Brown guilty of breaking and entering a house at Pet an e, and assaulting a woman and °'irl (half-castes) with criminal intent. Roderick Alexander Greenaway, oharg_ ed with aiding and abetting Brown, was found not guilty. Sentence on Brown wa*^deferred. There i s another charge against both accused.
