HAMILTON SITTINGS

[Per Press Association.] HAMILTON, Feb, 28,

At the Supreme Court sittings today. Harry Sinclair pleaded guilty to theft and breaking and entering. He was sentenced to six months, with hard labor for each offence, cumulative on a sentence of eighteen months which he is now serving. Rudolph Ernest Kobertstein, for theft of cattle, was sentenced to two years, with hard Tabor, and Kenred Ernest Davey for theft to 12 months with hard labor. Ina. Margaret Rnnciman, a girl of 17, was acquitted on a charge of concealment of birth. In this case the original charge was murder, but was reduced by the grand jury. Tine bills were returned in the cases of John Mintern Pauli, attempted murder; Geo. Mallinsom, arson and theft; Naomi Adele Day Peacock, arson ; Rore Rorc and Paddy Barlow (Natives; theft of a- beast.
