Chas. Phillips, upholsterer, formerly of Australia and New Zealand, died 1 at Rawton, Vaxhall, where he lived for many years upon sixpence weekly. It his since been discovered that ihe had a. bank 'balance of £3OOO. H/is relatives believe that he owns another £7OOO worth of property in the colonies.
