The Huddart Parser Co.’s Wimmera arrives from Sydney and Auckland this afternoon and continues South in the evening. The Tuatea goes out on arrival and at 7 p.m., with outward passengers. The Union S.S. Co.’s Tarawera. through being delayed at Dunedin, will not reach here till early to-morrow morning. There will only he one launch, at 6 a.m. The U.S.S. Co.’s Monowai, which is due at Lyttelton to-day, will remain there until to-morrow, in order that the Moana, from Dunedin with northern cargo, may connect with her. Consequently the Monowai will not reach Wellington until Friday. She works Napier and Gisborne on Saturday, it being expected she will reach Gisborne that night, and proceeds to Auckland later. The last launch in the meantime has been fixed for 7 o’clock. This delay is consequent on the substitution of the Mokoia for the Hr.uroto in the Eastern Pacific service. The New Zealand Shipping Co.'s R.M.S.Ruahine left Rio do Janeiro on "Friday for London. The U.S.S. Co.’s Hauroto is to be overhauled at Dunedin and provided with additional passenger accommodation to make her suitable for the Du-nedin-Auckland service, which she enters in the Monowai’s timetable, the latter having replaced the Mokoia. The New Zealand Shipping Co.’s R.M.S. Rimutaka arrived in Wellington at 3 p.m. yesterday from London, via Capetown and Hobart.. The New Zealand Shipping Co.’s s.s. Orari left Monte Video on Saturday for London. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall is due from Auckland and Tologa Bay to-day, and returns to Auckland to-niorrow. The U.S.S. Co.’s Flora was leaving Westport yesterday for Napier direct with a full load of coal. She is expected to arrive here on Saturday and leaves for Auckland and Coast .ports the same day. The New Zealand Shipping Co.’s Wakanini took the following shipments from this port: —Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., 376 bales and 26 pockets w.ool; Dalgety and Co, 78 bale s wool: Bennett and Sherratt, 119 pockets and 205 bales wool; Bank of New Zealand, 335 bales wool; Bank of New South Wales, 19 bales wool. Captain Ward, of the Campania, has succeeded Captain Pritchard, of the Mauretania, as commodore of the Cunard fleet. Captain Ward joined the Cunard Line’s service as junior officer in 1880, and has commanded many of the company’s steamers.
