Mr H. B. Williams left by the Wi:amera last night to attend a meeting of the Pastoralists’ Union in Christchurch. His Honor Judge Jones and Mr 11. Carr, Registrar, left by the Wimmera last evening to attend the' conference of Native -Land Court Judges,, commencing this evening. The eouteroncc. will last about a week. Tho Gisborne City Band left Last evening hv the Wimmera i'or the contest in fcvanganui. They played the test inarch on their way down to the wharf, and a- large crowd were there assembled to see them off. The following passengers were booked to leave by Messrs Redstone and Sons’ coaches this morning:—For Tologa, Air E. Scholium, Air Allen. Airs Prostiek, Airs Geo. Fitzgerald. Afrs Atitchell; for AVaipiro, Air Hobbs. Air R. Scott, Air C. Dunne; for Alorcre, Airs Todd, Aliss Simcocks (2). Air C. R. Webster, general secretary of the local Y.AI.C.A., returns from KTs vacation, b v the Tara worn, this morning.
