ARRIVE AT WANGANUI

[Special to “Times.”] WANGANUI, March 10. The Gisborne' Band arrived all in good fettle. They were met by the contest officials, and wore marched to their quarters at the Federal Hotel. The boys were invited to the Wanganui Garrison’s practice to-night. The other bands arrive on Saturday. THE BAND CONTEST. rPun Brush Association. | WANGANUI, March 10. Wanganui is beginning to wear a band contest appearance. The first visiting band, that from Gisborne, arrived this afternoon. Providing good weather is experienced the contest promises to be very successful.
