Sir James Mills is a passenger to New Zealand by the steamer Mongolia, which left Sydney for Auckland, on Saturday. Mr. A .W. Hogg denies the rumor that he intends to contest a seat in the Auckland district in Hie interests of the Labor party. Lord Kitchener and party left- Napier yesterday morning for Dannevirke, where they spend the night. The Field Marshal will leave 'Wellington for Sydney on "Wednesday, picking up the Vancouver boat at the latter port. Our Napier correspondent telegraphs that Mr W. C. Kensington, Under-Se-cretary for Lands, accompanied by the Misses Kensington, loft Napier for Taupo and "Waioiap-u by the coach yesterday morning. Mr. A. F. Harding, captain cf the Anglo-'Welslt -football team that toured New Zealand two years ago has joined the accountants’ branch c: the legal firm of Milford and-Levi, "Wellington.
