CANADIAN GOVERNMENT ADVANCING FUNDS. Unwed Pkkss Association— Copyright OTTAWA, March 15. The Dominion Government is advancing £1,200,000 for the Montreal Harbor Commission, to provide additional port facilities. The contract with the New Zealand Shipping Company provides for a monthly sailing from Montreal in the summer and St. John in the winter, calling at Halifax. The subsidy is £2oo(fa month, the rates not. to exceed those from similar -ports of the United States.
