ANNUAL VALUATION'. The total rateable value of properties in the borough of Gisborne for the present year, according to the'valuation made by the Town Clerk, Mr R. D. B. Robinson, is £ll*l,ooo, which is a considerable increase on all former years. Notwithstanding this only five objections against Mr Robinson’s assessments have been lodged. These will be considered at a sitting of the Assessment Court to be held before Air AY. A. Barton. S.M.. on April 4. Three of those are in connection with large buildings, the others being in regard to small allotments.
