Messrs F. S. Malcolm and Co. report the following prices obtained at their mart on Saturday : —Pullets and cockerels 9d to Is Id, hens Is to Is lOd, roosters Is 3d to 2s, ducks Is Gd to Is lOd, turkeys 4s Gd to 5s Gd, eggs Is 7d to Is 9d, butter lOd lb., apples Id to 2d lb., pears T'd to 2d lb., peaches 2d to 3d, water melons 6s doz., kumeras lid lb., picklers Id lb., globe onions Id lb., lemons Gd doz., quinces Is 6d case, pie melons 7s doz., cucumbers Is doz., marrows 2s doz., beans 2s bag, rhubarb 4s doz.j cabbages 3s sack, best southern potatoes 8s 6d hag. Messrs Miller and Craig report the following prices:—Turkeys 4s and 4s 3d, chickens Sd to Is, hens Is 4d to 2s, roosters l s Gd to 2s 3d, ducks Is lOd to 2s, plums 1d.1b., pears Id lb., apples Id lb., rhubarb 3d bdlo., onions Id lb., kumeras lb., pickling onions Id lb., peaches 2d lb., eggs ls 8d doz., butter Is lb., bacon od lb. HORSE SALE. About 35 horses were offered for sale at Messrs Williams and Kettle’s horse bazaar on Saturday: There appeared to be a good demand, and in some instances the competition was keen.
