SYDNEY, March '2l. Professor David considers the area Sir Ernest Shacldeton proposes to explore offers great possibilities from ageographical and general scientific aspect. Possibly ‘ another visit will be made to the magentic pole, information regarding which is of much importance not only to science but to navigation. Dr. Mawsoirvwould be an ideal scientific -director.
