PATHE PICTURES. The Path© Pictures programmes have reached such a high standard of excellence that an improvement would, be hard to imagine. The frequent applause of last night’s audience displayed great appreciation of the many fine pictures screened. “Tlie Restoration” and “The Indian Runner’s Romance” again proved tlie most popular of the dramatic subjects, and “The Theatre Pass” and “Foolshead Pays a Visit” created loud and healthy laughter. These two humorous items, especially the former, are quit© the funniest- films shown here for many weeks. Other films that were enjoyed included “The Sea,” “The Faun,” “An Attempt t-o Smash a Bank” and “A Trip Through Holland.” To-night is the last time this series will bo shown. To-morrow night another programme wil] be given, and a special grand selection of suitable films is announced for Good Friday night.
