LADIES’ CLUB
The annual meeting of the Poverty day Ladies’ Golf Chib was held yesterday afternoon in Townley’s Buildings. Mrs. Traill presided, and there ivas a good attendance. The secretary, Miss deLautoiir, presented the annual report and balancesheet, which were adopted. The bal- * ance-sheet showed the receipts to have been. £lll Os 6d, and the expenditure, including payments made to the men s club, £lO3 11s 7d, leaving cash in hand £7 8s lid. , . . The following officers were electedCaptain, Mrs. King; secretary. Miss E. Barker; treasurer, Miss E. Nolan ; com. mittee, Mesdames Traill, O’Meara, Morgan, IV. Barker, Misses deLautour and' Sweet. A vote of thanks to the donors ot trophies ;and to Mrs. Townley for the use of the hall, concluded the business.
