SWIMMING.
EASTER CARNIVAL
A Committee Meeting of the Easter Swimming Carnival was held in the Gisborne School last evening, when the final arrangements ill connection with the meeting were completed. The iol--1 owing officials were appointed: Judges, Messrs W. D. Lysnar, W. B. Miller, A. F. Kennedy, J. W. Bright, F Parker, G. B. Oman, D. J. Barry and F. J. Rowley: timekeepers, Messrs J. Broad, H. Mclntosh. H. S. P. McLernon, F. W. Riach; judges of diving, Messrs A. Thomas and C. 0. Morse; starter, MrC. 0. Morse; check starters. Messrs A. R. Gatland and (L. Redward; liandicappers, Messrs C. 0. Morse and 0. R. Olsen, 'result board, Messrs G. D. Malcolm and 0. R. Olsen; costume steward, Mr D. E. Leslie; umpires, Revs. Grant and Thomas; .gatekeepers, Messrs W. L. File, A. Spence and G. Wildish; referee for polo, Mr J. Colley. The programme presents many new and interesting events, . aMd judging by the interest already being taken by followers of the sport a most successful meeting should result. A strong committee of ladies has the afternoon tea arrangements in hand, and special attention is being devoted to the seating accommodation.
