Ist Anril, at 3.45 p.m., per schooner Kerchu. EASTER HOLIDAYS. •Post Office.—On Good Fridav. the 25tih March, a close holiday will be observed. On Easter Monday, the 28th March, all oost offices are to be open to the public in all branches, except money order and savings hank, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. There will he no delivery by letter-carrier.
On Thursday, the 24th, and Saturday, the 26th. a delivery of town letters will b» made over the counter
and at delivery wicket from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mails usually despatched on Fridays will be closed on Thursday night, the 24th March, at 7.30 p.m. On Monday, the 28th. the usual despatch of mails up to 8 a.m. will be made. Private box lobby will be open as follows:—Good Friday, 9.30 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Easter Monday, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Telegraph Office. —The following hours will be observed:—Good Friday, 9.30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.; Easter Monday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight. Telephone Exchange.— on Good Friday and Easter Monday, 7 a.m. to ll p.m. Money orders for places beyond New Zealand close 1 hour 30 minutes before the closing of the ordinary mail.
