WELLINGTON TOURNAMENT. [Per Press Association. 1 WELLINGTON, March 28. The Wellington provincial lawn tennis championship tournament concluded to-day. .The results of-fh* remaining finals are: Ladies’ Singles.—Miss Nunnelly heat Miss Travers, 6 —7, 6 —4. Ladies’ Doubles (final).; —Mrs Holmes and Miss Beetham v. Misses Nunnelly and Williams was started late, and ad'journed when each side had won a set, '6—4. The match will be replayed on Thursday. Combined Doubles.—Brown and Miss Nunnnelly heat Salmond and Miss Travers. WANGANUI TOURNAMENT. WANGANUI, March 28. The holiday passed off quietly. The tennis tournament was continued to'day. Morpeth and Powdrell play off •for the men’s singles championship. Miss Brewster won the ladies’ championship.
