THE MUSICAL ALL BLACKS. Undoubtedly one of the most popular forms of public amusement supplied nowadays is the picture-cum-melcdy entertainments as supplied by the AIL rj Blacks Company, who open here tomorrow night. Miss Nellie Black, thW bright particular star of the constella- i t-ion, is spoken of as an artist of rare merit, her performance on the violin, being a revelation and her singing an artistic success. At the early age of 144 years Miss Black made her first appearance in public at Wellington, and the papers then spoke of her as having a great future in the musical world. Since then she has scored triumphs in all parts of the globe. Miss Elsie Black is described as an accomplished artist, and as a fiautist has few peers, while she is equally clever as a dancer, mandoliniste, pianist, and gui. tarist. The company has just finished a successful tour of West Australia, y where they ran for-six months, making a nett profit of £2500. Assisting the Black Family are four other artists. Popular prices are to be charged, viz., 3s, 2s ard Is, and seats may be reserved at Miller’s.
