WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under ‘‘The Harbors Act, 1908,” and “"The Public Works Act, 1908,” for a certain public Avork, to Avit, for the purpose of a lighthouse in Block VIII., TeraxiganuiSSurreyA r ey District: And whereas the Gisborne Harbor Board lias laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the'said Act: Noav, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The Harbors Act, 1908,” and “The Public Works Act 1908,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in .this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare. that the land described in the Scliedu le ..hereto is hereby taken for the purpose of a lighthouse, and shall A r est in the Gisborne Harbor Board; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and ten.
