WOOL CULTIVATION. OR THE SCIENCE OF WOOLGR OWING. That science plays a highly important part in the growing of a first-class fleece of wool no intelligent man will for a moment gainsay. In agriculture, to produce a crop of roots or cereals of the best quality, the utmost attention must be paid to the cultivation of the soil. The sheep’s shin is the soil from winch the wool crop grows. If the animal is badly nourished and its skin neglected, the results will be plainly visible in a stunted’, unsatisfactory sheep generously, and destroy all parasites which me- infect it by passing it through a bath of Quibell’s Dip twice a year, and a perfect fleece of wool will bo the result. Never use a dip which leaves the wool harsh.. The very fact that the fleece feels harsh proves that the di" applied has had an irritant effect both on* the skin and wool.
