Maitai, at Auckland, per WTnnnera. 6 p.m. Correspondence for Continent of Europe must be specially addressed “Via San Francisco.” The Wellington Brindisi despatch of 18th November arrived in London on the 24th uit. PARCELS FOR AUSTRALIA. From the Ist January, 1911, senders of parcels addressed to Australia may take upon themselves the payment of Customs and other charges ordinarily payable by the addressees. A fee of 6d will be charged, and the senders will be required to make a deposit on account of the charges at the rate of Is for each 4s or fraction of 4s of the declared value of the parcel, and also sign an undertaking to pay on demand the amount due. Full particulars will appear in the "Post and Telegraph Guide” for January, 1911. and may also be obtained at any post-office. Late fee letters 15 minutes later all mails. Money orders for beyond New Zealand close 1 hour 30 minutes before the closing of the ordinary mail. In regard to places within the colony, money orders and registei’ed letters close 1 hour, and parcel post parcels 30 minutes before the ordinarv mail . W. &. RENNER. Chief Postmaster,
