LONDON, Jan. 3. The London “Telegraph” states that the Tasmanian growers’ censure of Covent Garden methods is too severe and unjust. Some of the remarks at Hobart. are likely to arouse indignation amongst the many firms conducting business perfectly on sound, straight methods. _ It would be interesting to hear the opinion of a conference of London brokers concerning those shipping fruit. AH such criticisms would not be based on the- actions of some few' in putting good fruit on the top of the case. Reservation is necessarv for those doing the work well and prospering. Co vent Garden had extended because, it had proved the best medium between grower and purchaser.
