GREAT EIRE AT OKLAHOMA

A fire wiped out a large area of the business section .of Oklahoma City, .Frozen hydrants proved an obstacle to 'the work of the fire brigades. BLIZZARD STOPS RAILWAY TRAFFIC.
There- is a blizzard raging in the middle and west states, with zero temperatures. , Railroad traffic is at astandstill in places.
SIX LIVES LOST IN TRAIN WRECK
Six were killed in a train wreck on the Miller Creek railway. Kentucky. A collision occurred between a passenger train and coal cars. The latter accidentally broke loose from another train A RIGHTEOUS VERDICT.' Mrs V. C. Herold has been acquitted on a charge of having shot a kidnapper at Tacoma. AN EARTHQUAKE RECORDED. (Received, Jan. 5, 12.20 a.m.) NEW YORK, Jan. 4. A great earthquake lias been seismograplied at Kansas University. It is believed that the disturbance was in Chile or Iceland. A TRAIN ROBBERY. Two masked bandits robbed a lrundred passengers on the Southern Pacific Express, near Ogden, Utah. They shot a Negro porter, wounded others and escaped. A sheriff and posse are pursuing them.
