GISBORNE CLUB. The screen of the Gisborne Bowling Club was very keen yesterday afternoon. A considerable number of members and visiting players assembled thereon, and had some interesting play. A meeting of delegates from clubs affiliated to the Northern Bowling Association of New Zealand was held last nigh for the purpose of considering the proposed new rules and constitution of the Association. On the motion of the President, Mr. W. Elliott, it was decided to inform the Council that the meeting approved of the proposed new rules and constitution. It was also decided that steps be taken to approach the Now Zealand Bowling Association, with a view' to forming a Council for the government of bowling in the Dominion.
