CHARGES AGAINST AN AMERICAN
ADMIRAL
Rear-Admiral, who has been retired from the command of the United States Pacific fleet, is <32 years of ago. An inquirv was held into the charges levelled by the sailors of the flagship West Virginia, who described what they had seen through the open porthole of the commander’s cabm. A suggestion that, for the honor oi the American Navy, a loaded revolver should be sent to the Admiral’s cabin was rejected on a vote.
