In their match with Hamilton the South Africans’ first innings closed for 229, Commaille not out 31, Campbell 23, and Sherwell 38 being the principal scorers. Hamilton in the second innings made 120, McDonald 22 being top scorer. Llewellyn took three wickets for 42, Vogler seven for 53, and Schwarz five for. 27. The South Africans won by an. innings and 50 runs.
