PATHE PICTURES
The star attraction at His Majesty’s Theatre last evening, was the film depicting “Buffalo Bill’s. Wild West Show ” and the large audience that assembled expressed their heartiest appreciation of this item. The film opens with a march past which gives an excellent idea of the large troupe that compose the “Wild West Show.” ' The buckjumping scenes follow, and the champion girl rider astride of an unbroken broncho is introduced. The Arabian acrobats, who form a portion of the troupe are extremely clever, and the Japanese acrobats fairly astonished the audience by their performance. The way in which a man juggles with a small boy on his feet is simply’ marvellous. Tlie Zouaves, a company of the famous French infantry, go through a* number of exercises. Their performance was exceptionally smart, and elicited great applause. There are a number of other equal# interesting items in the show, andjjsltogether it was a capital one. This filijovillbe exhibited again to-night, but t]# other pictures exhibited will be cnWely new to a Gisborne audience.
