DUNEDIN, Feb. 9. In banco to-day Mr. Justice Williams decided that a brewer’s notice regarding liquor sent- into no-license districts must be forwarded simultaneously, or practically simultaneously, with the sale and delivery of the liquor. The matter was brought before the judge expressly to get- a ruling so as to settle the practice” in South Otago, where magistrates have various views, and Mr. Bartholomew recently convicted Whittingliam, a brewer, for a delay of two days. The judge upheld' the conviction. This is a new decision.
