POVERTY BAY ASSOCIATION
The weekly meeting of the Poverty Bay Cricket Association was held in the British Empire Rooms last night. Present : Messrs E. YYL Harvey (in the chair) Lang, Glennie, Allen, Shann, Jeffries, Manning, and Wliiteley. Several small matters were given attention. including the. transfer of players, and a letter to Messrs A. u. Draper and Co., Dunedin, thanking them for a fine cricket bat- which is yO lx* presented by the Association to the player with the highest batting average. ~The bat is a very good one, and is or : Dunedin make. THE SOUTH AFRICAN TEAM. THE FOURTH TEST MATCH AGAIN POSTPONED. f "UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION -COPYRIGHT.J MELBOURNE, Feb. 13. Rain at noon .prevented all possibility of the plav in the test match starting to-day. It iias been postponed until I nday, subject to the ratification of the Board of Control.
