POVERTY BAY ASSOCIATION

The weekly meeting of the Poverty Bay Cricket Association was held in the British Empire Rooms last night. Present : Messrs E. YYL Harvey (in the chair) Lang, Glennie, Allen, Shann, Jeffries, Manning, and Wliiteley. Several small matters were given attention. including the. transfer of players, and a letter to Messrs A. u. Draper and Co., Dunedin, thanking them for a fine cricket bat- which is yO lx* presented by the Association to the player with the highest batting average. ~The bat is a very good one, and is or : Dunedin make.
