Latest news from Sydney indicates that Dick Arnst has Ills eye on the boxing championship of the world. In his camp on the Parramatta River are included a galaxy of American boxers, with most of whom Dick Arnst- has a “go,” and it is said he is on top every time, so much so that the cognoscenti are prepared to spare no expense in. fittine him fer the world's championship, and have engaged Mr. Larry Foley, exchampion of:, Australia, to put the final touch on him. But Dick Arnst lias decreed that lie will wait till May, and if no challenge is issued tor the scul]in<v championship up till then lie will seek fresh'fields. There is some objection raised in Sydney by his immediate friends that Dick Arnst is too short m the reach to cope with the gorillaarmed son of Ham, but it will be remembered that similar objections were made when Arnst aspired to the sculling championship.
