A meeting of the directors of the GHabo’rne Oil Company 'was held yesterday afternoon, for the purpose of conferring with Mr J. D. Henry, who has visited the Waitnngi bore. The' proceedings were of a private nature. It is understood that Mr Henry’s report was very satisfactory. .To date, 440 entries have been received for the tenth annual meeting of the dominion. Rifle Association at Trentham on March 3rd. Entries have yet to come from Invercargill, Oamaru, Nelson, Taranaki and Wanganui, as weill as additions from Auckland and Dunedin. It is expected that .between ;550 and 600 competitors will bo oil. the ground. .
