IMPERIAL POLITICS.

THE ANTI-LORDS BILL. WILL IT BECOME LAW. s Mr Austen Chamherlaip declares that it is unthinkable that the- Lords will voluntarily consent to .pass the measure directed against- themselves, and that it would be an unconstitutional Administration that advised the creation of the 300 peers that will be needed to pass it; The “Daily News” writes that- the Lords, like Mr Chamberlain, may dwell in a fog and feed on illusions. But there are no illusions about the Administration. V If, the “Ne'ws” goes on to say, the Lords fail in their duty the Government will create new peers, and the antiLords hill will become law. That is as certain as the rising of the sun.
