SITTING AT NAPIER.

[SPECIAL TO TIMES.] NAPIER, Feb. 20. Sir Robert Stout arrived on Saturday night tor the purpose of eonduct- > mg tiie sittings of the Supreme Court, officially opening to-morrow, but His Honour filled in time to-day by taking some of the divorce business. Deeres absolute were made in the following cases: Minnie Brock v. Henry Brock, with custody of child'; Nellie Burnet O’R eilly v. Edward O’Reilly, with custody of child. The petition of Edith Marianne Jane Bruce for dissolution of her marriage with David ISmall Bruce, on the ground 'of adultery, was then heard. The petitioner deposed that there were two children of the 'marriage, which took place on July 12th, 1904. The parties lived together at Tokomaru Bay, Gisborne and Tangoio. The respondent had always neglected her, and at the end ot 1909 had left her and gone to live at Dannevirko. From what she had heard she employed' the services of a private inquiry agent, the petition being the outcome of his investigation. Samuel Tree, private inquiry agent, Wellington, testified to having watched the respondent’s movements, and related two instances of misconduct on the part, of the respondent, at Danne,virke. The decision will be given to-morrow. The case Robert Williams v. Mona Williams, was heard in. camera. Judgment was also reserved until to-morrow.
