The Tuatea connected at 6 a.m. and 10 a.m., the 150 inward passengers being landed about 8 a.m., and the Mokoia proceeded to Tokomaru Bay and Auckland before noon. Messrs. Hmidart, Parker and Co/s. Victoria arrived from Auckland and Tokomaru Bay yesterday afternoon. Inward passengers were landed at 5.15 p.m., and, consequent on a little delay, outward passengers were taken at 7-30 p.m., the Victoria resuming her passage south later in the evening. The New Zealand Shipping Co/s Rimutaka is due to load frozen meat at Tokomaru Bay some time next week. Messrs. Richardson and Co/s Ripple is due here from Wellington, via Napier, on Friday morning. On discharging she proceeds to Wellington direct. The Canterbury Shipping Go/s Petone left for Napier to load sheep for Lyttelton about midday yesterday. The auxiliary scow Magic was placed on the slip yesterday to undergo examination, with a view to ascertaining if she sustained any damage during her recent stormy voyage from Wellington. The Union Co/s Haupiri is expected to finish working East Coast ports early, and arrive in Auckland on Sunday. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Co/s Mamari is due here for Home, loading today.
