ENTERTAINMENTS.
PATHE PICTURES. There was a large attendance at His Majesty’s Theatre last evening, when a really delightful programme was presented. The star picture was the launching of the Olympic, the world’s largest ship. The whole construction was shown from the drawing of the plans to the final launching of the vessel. “Bathe's Latest Gazette” was full of topical items, including scenes in the Crippen case. “Real Brittany” was a delightful scenic picture. The star drama was “Peg Woffington,” and it met with a splendid reception. A number of other excellent items were shown, including “An Old Story with a New Ending,” “The Ranchman’s Feud,” “An Energetic Roadsweeper,” “Tlie Clown and the Deary Pasha.’’ “Tontolini,” and “How Max Linder travelled round the world.” The programme will be repeated this evening.
