" ANNUAL MEETING

[PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.'! QUEENSTOWN, Feb. 22. The annual meeting of the Press Association was held here to-day. Alterations were approved in the articles of association. The number of directors was increased by two for the purpose of representing papers ..outside the four cities Messrs Carson (“Wanganui Chronicle”) and Pirani (“Tedding Star”) were elected to these positions without opposition; and Messrs Brett -and Horton, who were the retiring members of the old hoard, were also reelected unopposed.:* Mr Fenwick chairman, delivered an address dwelling on the great development of the cable service and the work of the Association generally, which the meeting ordered to he printed and circulated to members. Tire balance-sheet and report were passed.
