Wireless communication has been held between the Eiffel Tower and Canada. MADEIRA FREE FROM CHOLERA. LISBON, Feb. 21. Madeira has been declared free from cholera. THE UMTALI OUTRAGE. {Received Feb. 22, 10.15 p.m.) LONDON, eFb. 22. _ Replying to a series of questions in the House of Commons regarding the Umtali outrage, Mr Hareourt said he did not propose to table papers at present. WEST AUSTRALIAN LOAN., (Received Feb. 22, 11.20 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 22. The West Australian loan is expected to yield 3$ per eeut., and ! is quoted at par to a-quarter premium. It is denied that there is any displeasure on the Stock Exchange, which received the usual proportion of underwriting.
