A COMPLAINT.
[TO THE EDITOR.] Sir,—Would you kindly allow me space in your valuable columns to draw the attention of the authorities to a matter which is causing much annoyance, and even grave concern, to residents of the Riverside Road. For the past fortnight a bull has been grazing at will on. this road, and pedestrians passing in and out from town have to run the gauntlet past His Bovine Majesty. This has been an absolute danger,' especially to ladies escorting little children. I know of several ladies who have been actually intimidated from going and coming to town during the past fortnight. The other day a lady with a perambulator containing a baby had to hurriedly take refuge in a resident’s garden. My reason for troubling you is that public attention may be drawn to the matter, and the nuisance abated. Thanking you in. anticipation,—l am, etc., M ATERFAMIj A AS.
