On completing her. discharge she sailed for Wellington. During the month of March three Shaw, Savill, and Albion Co/s steamers will call at Gisborne. The W aiwera is due on .March 6th, the Karamea oil the 20th. and another vessel, yet unnamed, on March 27th. A cable received at Wanganui from Sydney states that the damages to the barquentine Alesa, which bumped into the breakwater some time ago, when crossing the Wanganui bar, over £IOOO, in addition to the repairs effected in. Wanganui, costing £7OO. The Union Co/s Monowai arrived from Napier and the South early on Saturday morning, and proceeded to Auckland about noon.

The schooner Waiapu, which is at present in Wellington loading sewerage pipes, is expected to leave that port for Gisborne on Tuesday. v The scow Alert arrived from North on Saturday afternoon, bringing, with other cargo, a consignment of sleepers for the Borough Council. The XJ.S.S. .Co/s Mokoia arrived from Auckland, via Tokomaru Bay, yesterday afternoon, and resumed her voyage during the evening. The liner Mamari, at present lying m the bay, and which it had been expected would have comuleted her loading at this port on Saturday night, was unable to do so, on account of the rain. Operations will, weather permitting, be concluded tott£The TT.S.S. Co/s Squall, which left Auckland on Friday evening for Tologa Bay and Gisborne, had not put in an appearance at the former port yesterday morning. She is expected to arrive here to-day with a general cargo, and to return "to Auckland, if possible, to-night, with a full load of sheep. The XJ.S.S. Co/s Haupiri is due to leave Auckland to-day for coast hays, Gisborne, Napier, and Wellington, via Limestone Island. by telegraph. AUCKLAND. Feb. 20.
