WILL BOYCOTT THE CENSUS MAN. Addressing the Women’s Freedom League yesterday, Mrs. Desna rd, one of the most militant of the suffragettes, said:—“We shall prove whether there can be a people without women who are denied citizenship.” Mrs. Despard went on to say that it would be quite logical for them to refuse to register as citizens, and that the league would request the women householders and lodgers throughout the country to decline all information to the census-takers next April.
