THE CABINET.
TEMPORARY READJUSTMENT OF PORTFOLIOS. {SPECIAL TO TIMES.] WELLINGTON. Feb. 26. A special meeting of the Cabinet is to be held to-morrow night, when, amongst other important business, the rearrangement of portfolios consequent upon the proposed visit of the Prime Minister and the Hon. Dr. I indlay to England, will be undertaken. It is anticipated that the Hon. Jas. Carroll will, of course, be appointed Acting-Prime Minister, a position he so ably filled during Sir Joseph Ward's visit to the Defence Conference in 1909. The additional portfolios to be allotted to other members of the Ministry have not yet been definitely settled.
