PROPOSED SCENIC RESERVE.
IN THE ..MALTAI VALLEY.. (PER press association*.]! NELSON, Feb. 27. The Scenery Preservation Commission was waited upon to-day by a representative deputation, which urged that land be acquired along the banks of the Maitai river as a public resort: the estate having recently been closed to the public. The Commission will report to the Government on the subject.
