About the turtle, Mr Bullen remarked in a recent lecture .that they lived apparently as long as they liked, and eventually died -of disgust It was said that on a turtle discovered by some sailors was written the inscription “The Ark, Captain Noah.”- (Laughter.) Quite a sensation was caused in the Telephone Exchange to-day. A man wanted to ring tip a certain jeweller, and because he couldn't get Grieve lie threatened to shoot someone. Grieve, jeweller, is famed for Engagement Rings.*
