EX IiOUTE TO GISBORNE. (PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, March 3. The Minister for Public Works (Hon. R. McKenzie) started on a tour yesterday throughout the Manukau County Paeroa, and Rotorua, whence lie goes to Tauranga, To Puke and overland to Gisborne and Napier. The first stage to Hunua, was made yesterday afternoon along the new road which the local body has constructed from Papakura. along the windings of Hay’s Creek to Hunua. This morning the Minister proceeded from Papakura to Huntl-y and Ngaruawahia, going on to Paeroa across country.
